2009 Auto Shows

As in years past, the Canadian Direct team ventured out to the auto shows in both BC and Alberta to give away lots of goodies and answer questions about everyone’s favourite topic: auto insurance. 

Given the current economic conditions we decided the focus should be on putting more money back in your pocket…that being said we mentioned a number of ways to save money with Canadian Direct Insurance; we gave away tire gauges to help educate people about the importance of checking their tire pressure and the potential for fuel savings; and we also decided it would be nice to give away some free gas, so we held a contest at each auto show.

Vancouver International Auto Show winner: Ken from Vancouver

We also held our "Count the Cars" contest for a Nintendo Wii in Vancouver.  Reynold Amey took home the Nintendo Wii with a guess of 1650 cars, which was actually the correct number of cars!  Way to go Reynold!!!

Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast

In December 2008 you may recall seeing us at the Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast in Vancouver. Canadian Direct was thrilled to be the presenting sponsor of this worthy cause for the first time, and we were simply overwhelmed by the outpour of heartwarming generosity and goodwill from everyone. Your donations resulted in the most successful year to date for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, which no doubt meant many new toys for many happy children on Christmas morning.
