Collision Avoidance Course Driving Exercises (Level I)

The Level I course starts with a 45 minute classroom session. The remainder of the course is spent behind the wheel experiencing four driving exercises.

  1. Slalom Exercise
    Experience the importance of looking farther ahead, looking where you want to go, and proper steering techniques.
  2. Emergency Braking Exercise
    Practice stopping as quickly as possible with or without Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS).
  3. Braking On A Turn Exercise
    Drivers simulate having to panic stop to avoid an obstacle while negotiating a corner.
  4. Collision Avoidance Exercise
    Put all the previous techniques together to practice avoiding collisions.

Advanced Driver Training Driving Exercises (Level II)

The Level II course starts with a brief classroom session just like our Level I course.  The remainder of the course is spent behind the wheel experiencing the following advanced driving exercises:

  1. Advanced Vision and Visual Tracking
    More practice on how to properly use your vision and how to automate the steering process as a subconscious action.
  2. Emergency Lane Change and Maneuvering
    Practice emergency lane diversions at highway speeds and learn proper visual discipline and steering techniques.
  3. Proper Reversing Techniques
    Practice proper reversing techniques (such as body positioning and vision) that make reversing easier, safer and less stressful.
  4. Advanced Emergency Avoidance Techniques
    Practice emergency avoidance techniques in an advanced exercise, which will challenge your skills and visual discipline.
